Completing this coursework will help you earn a Professional Certificate which is beneficial and will qualify you for 100 hours of education in project management that you can utilize toward prerequisites for PMI certifications, including the CAPM. The certificate will not be an official training course for CAPM.

If you are planning to prepare independently for the exam, it is important to obtain the latest edition of the PMBOK Guide, as the CAPM exam is derived from it. You can even start to get acquainted with the structure and content of the exam via the CAPM handbook provided by PMI.

The CAPM exam

This exam will contain exactly 150 questions and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Out of these, fifteen questions are considered as “pretest questions”.
