WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?

To apply for the PMI-ACP®, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. General Project Experience

– 2000 hours of working on project teams within the last 5 years or having an active PMP®/PgMP® credential

2. Agile Project Experience

– 1500 hours of working on Agile Project Teams or with Agile Methodologies, in addition to “General Project Experience” above;

3. Training in Agile Practices

– 21 contact hours earned in Agile Practices

• 2,000 hours of general project experience working on teams. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP.
• 1,500 hours working on agile project teams or with agile methodologies. This requirement is in addition to the 2,000 hours of general project experience.
• 21 contact hours of training in agile practices.
